      Andreas Adler

      Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES), Austria

      Andreas Adler studied at the BOKU in Vienna and has been responsible for feed microbiology and hygiene in the AGES Agricultural Division since 2002 as well as for PCR applications in food analysis or to quarantine pests in potatoes. Since 2001 he has been a Member of the Federal Commission for Zoonoses in the Austrian Federal Ministry of Health and Consumer Protection.


      Charlotte Bjørnvad

      University of Copenhagen, Denmark

      Charlotte Bjørnvad is a Professor of Companion Animal Internal Medicine and the Head of the Research Group Medicine and Clinical Nutrition at the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences of the University of Copenhagen. Her research is focused on metabolic derangements during obesity and diabetes in dogs and cats, clinical nutrition and gastroenterology.


      Łukasz Grześkowiak

      Freie Universität Berlin, Germany

      Łukasz Grześkowiak is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Institute of Animal Nutrition, Freie Universität Berlin. He works on gut microbiota, nutrition and their impact on pathogen reduction and improvement of animal health.


      Matteo Lorenzo Innocenti

      European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), Italy

      Matteo Lorenzo Innocenti is working as a Scientific Officer at the FEED Unit in the Department of Scientific Evaluation of Regulated Products at EFSA. He is currently leading the work on the update of the guidance on renewal.


      Josef Kamphues

      University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (TiHo), Germany

      Josef Kamphues is a Veterinarian and Professor. From 1993 to 2019 he was the Head of the Institute of Animal Nutrition at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover.


      Wolfgang Koppe

      Simplyfish, Norway

      Wolfgang Koppe graduated in Agriculture, Animal Production. In 1995 he joined the Aquaculture Research Centre of Skretting, Norway, as a researcher in the areas of pigmentation, amino acids and formulation. From 1999-2017 he headed the Nutrition R&D department. In this role, he was developing and executing an R&D portfolio for feeds for salmon, trout, whiteleg shrimp, tilapia, sea bass, sea bream and other species while also developing and implementing commercial nutritional solutions for Skretting’s global feed lines. He is inventor and co-inventor of several patents. Since 2017 he works as an independent consultant in the field of aquafeeds.


      Krzysztof Kozlowski

      University of Warmia and Mazury

      Krzysztof Kozlowski is a Professor in the Department of Poultry Science at the Faculty of Animal Bioengineering at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Poland.


      Rudolf Krska

      University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) Vienna, Austria

      Rudolf Krska is a full Professor at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) Vienna and the Head of the Institute of Bioanalytics and Agro-Metabolomics at the Department IFA-Tulln at BOKU. As member of JECFA he has evaluated the impact of trichothecene mycotoxins on humans. He is the Coordinator of the European Commission funded project MyToolBox for Integrated Mycotoxin Management in cooperation with China. Rudolf Krska is also Green Area Leader at the recently founded Austrian Competence Centre for Feed and Food Quality, Safety and Innovation (FFOQSI). In 2018, he has become Professor within the Institute for Global Food Security at Queen´s University, Belfast, UK.


      Ed Kuijper

      University of Leiden, The Netherlands

      Ed Kuijper is a Professor and currently the Head of the Experimental Microbiology and the Reference Laboratory for Clostridium difficile at the Leiden University Medical Centre and the Centre for Infectious Disease Control of the National Institute of Public Health. Since 2015, his department also hosts the 'National Donor Feces Bank' for patients treatment . He also supervises the 'Microbiota Platform' that has been established in 2017 in LUMC and is affiliated at the RIVM in the antimicrobial resistance team.

      Anke Lauche is the Head of the Unit "Feed" at the German Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL) in Berlin.


      Charlotte Lauridsen

      Aarhus University, Denmark

      Charlotte Lauridsen is a Professor in Nutritional Immunology and Experimental Nutrition and the Head of Research Unit in the Department of Animal Science at Aarhus University. She focuses on pigs and infectious/non-infectious diseases. She was the President of the Pig Commission/EAAP until 2016.

      Jens Legarth is educated in Agriculture and on the Danish Export Academy. He is Founder and the CEO of Fermentationexperts and European Protein.


      Markus Lukaszczuk

      Amandus Kahl, Germany

      Markus Lukaszczuk is a Process Engineer and started to work at Amandus Kahl as a Project Engineer from 2012-2013. From 2013 he held a position in Sales, today Area Manager for Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the Baltic countries (LT, LV, EST).

      Marta Ponghellini is the Deputy Head of Unit, E5, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Medicines at DG SANTE (Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety) at the European Commission.


      Reinder Sijtsma

      Nutreco, The Netherlands

      Reinder Sijtsma is the Nutreco Government Relations & Regulatory Affairs Director. From 1989 until now he held several positions in R&D, nutrition, quality assurance and food safety in Nutreco and its subsidiaries. In his current position he is responsible for regulatory affairs and compliance at Nutreco corporate level. In addition, Reinder is member of several committees and boards of international feed associations, including the IFIF board of directors.


      Julien Taïeb

      European Pet Food Industry Federation (FEDIAF), Belgium

      Julien Taïeb is a French lawyer by training (University of Aix-Marseille) with an additional Master in EU Law. 2003-2005 he was legal advisor at the European Commission to then join the European feed manufacturers federation FEFAC (2006-2010) as European Affairs Manager. He subsequently held several responsibilities at the EU agriculture commodities traders associations (COCERAL, UNISTOCK) from 2010 to 2013. He joined FEDIAF in 2014 as Regulatory and Technical Affairs Manager and is, since 2018, Deputy Secretary General.

      Van Immerseel

      Filip Van Immerseel

      Ghent University, Belgium

      Filip Van Immerseel is a Professor for Molecular Microbiology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in the Department of Pathology, Bacteriology and Avian Diseases at Ghent University. He supervises a research group working on host-pathogen interactions in the gut of poultry, cattle and humans. His research topics include Salmonella, Clostridium perfringens and inflammatory gut health problems caused by dysbiosis.

      Jürgen Zentek is a Professor for Animal Nutrition at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Freie Universität Berlin and has research experience in nutritional physiology and animal nutrition including the relevance of feed for food safety.

      Arnold van Huis is an Emeritus Professor of Tropical Entomology in the Laboratory of Entomology at Wageningen University & Research. He (co)authored several book chapters and publications.
