Alain Bauwens has been Managing Director of Planet Pure in Austria since 2014. All cleaning and laundry detergents are plant-based with ingredients from certified organic raw materials and are therefore 100% biodegradable. Previously, Alain worked for Henkel in Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, Germany and China in the laundry & home care and cosmetics sector, focusing on marketing and general management. Dannielle Borger is Global Head of Packaging Sustainability Laundry & Home Care at Henkel. She has extensive experience in the field of international packaging development in the consumer goods industry. Before joining Henkel, she worked in Packaging Development at Danone and Nutricia. Emma Burlow is a Leading UK specialist on circular economy in business and is founder of Lighthouse Sustainability. She has more than 20 years of experience directly supporting businesses in resource efficiency and circular business models. She has a unique approach to translating complex sustainability principles into commercially viable propositions. Emma has broad, current and practical experience having supported hundreds of businesses, founded and managed two small consultancies, supporting clients such as Sky Mobile, Argos, Panasonic, DHL, Oxfam, Beko, Waitrose, and Central England Co-operative alongside circular pioneers such as NaturalMat; Po-Zu and Globechain. Emma’s experience and wide network gives her the confidence that with a shift in mindset and the rapid sharing of learning, we have every opportunity to transition to a more circular economy for the benefit of both business and society. She is passionate about finding that sweet spot between commercial benefit for business and social and environmental gain. Emma has a first-class Environmental Science degree from the University of Southampton and is a member of this University’s External Advisory Board for Geography and Environmental Sciences.mehrweniger
Olivier Floch is currently working at Unilever as Senior Sustainable Business Manager in the Home Care category. He is in charge of coordinating and defining the social and environmental strategies of the brands as well as the category plan for innovations in the field of sustainable development (mainly water, waste, carbon footprint and social footprint). He has experience in marketing of consumer products (development and local marketing) and in sustainable development. He believes that meaningful marketing and a responsible approach to business are essential for sustainable growth. His profile combines a strong ability to think strategically with skills as a marketing professional and project manager capable of implementing initiatives quickly.mehrweniger
Thomas Müller-Kirschbaum is passionate about sustainable innovations that lead to a global, climate-neutral circular economy. He worked at Henkel for more than 30 years. There he led global research and development for the Laundry and Home Care division. In addition, he was Group-wide spokesperson for research. His focus is on research, technology and innovation management, especially using digitalisation. As Vice Chairman of the Henkel Sustainability Council, he was jointly responsible for the sustainability strategy and its implementation.mehrweniger
A.I.S.E. International Association for Soaps, Detergents and Maintenance Products
Sascha Nissen has been working with A.I.S.E., the international Association for Soaps, Detergents and Maintenance Products in Brussels since 20015. He is mainly involved in the development and implementation of A.I.S.E.’s strategy on Sustainable Development, covering a wide range of activities for the industry sector in Europe.mehrweniger
Torsten Wieprecht currently works as Director for Global Development of Home Care Solution at the BASF headquarter in Ludwigshafen. Previously, he held various positions in R&D for Ciba, DSM and BASF. He studied chemistry and holds a PhD in experimental Biophysics.mehrweniger
