The Classification, Labelling, and Packaging (CLP) Regulation has undergone a major revision, bringing significant changes that impact all sectors of the chemical industry. The updated rules introduce new hazard classes, labelling requirements, and classification criteria that will shape how hazardous chemicals are identified, classified, and communicated.

Megan Griffiths is a Senior Regulatory Ecotoxicologist at Ricardo, specialised in assessing the environmental hazard and risk of chemicals. With a BSc in Biological Sciences and MSc in Environmental Science (Chemistry, Toxicology and Health), she has a robust background in pollution across soil, water, and air, as well as ecotoxicology, environmental chemistry, and how inform environmental risk assessment. She has extensive experience supporting prospective risk assessments for a range of substances, including difficult-to-test chemicals and complex mixtures, under OSPAR, UNEP, and EU regulations.

He previously worked as scientific associate at RWTH Aachen University.

Stine Husa is Team Leader Hazard Assessment at the European Chemicals Agency ECHA. After holding various positions with regulatory state agencies, Stine joined ECHA as Scientific Officer in 2023. Previously she had also supported ECHA's Risk Assessment Committee between 2015 and 2022.

Henning Krüger

Henning Krüger is a lawyer at the Dortmund-based law firm ChemLaw, specialised on chemical regulations (BPR, REACH, CLP, Cosmetics etc.). He advises companies from production and trade on product compliance and product stewardship projects and in connection with the drafting of contracts in the supply chain. He also represents companies in corresponding regulatory and judicial proceedings at national and European level and in competition law disputes with competitors. Having worked for several years as the responsible lawyer for the Federal Chemicals Agency at the German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA), Henning is very familiar with all issues of European and national chemicals law.

Jérémy Pinte is a policy officer for fertilising products and chemicals at the European Commission, DG GROW. He is an agricultural engineer with a focus on chemical safety, food safety and plant protection. He previously worked in France as a regulatory officer and then as a risk assessment coordinator for pesticides, fertilising products and invertebrate biocontrol agents.

ARCHE Consulting, Belgium

Guillaume Richer graduated with a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in 2018, and obtained a PhD in Medical Sciences at the Biology of the Testis laboratory (VUB) in 2023. At ARCHE Consulting, he specializes in ensuring compliance with chemical legislation (REACH, Biocides, Plant Protection Products), with a focus on EU requirements for endocrine disruptor (ED) assessments.

Virve Sihvola has been a Scientific Officer at the European Chemicals Agency for seven year. She is a Team Leader and specialises in regulatory toxicology for REACH and CLP. A Pharmacist by training, Virve has previously received her PhD from the University of Eastern Finland.

Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA), Germany

Suzanne Wiandt is currently working at the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) in Dortmund. She is Head of the \"REACH Helpdesk, Chemical Assessment” unit, and this area of activity includes participation in the implementation of European chemicals legislation (REACH). She has previously worked in other Federal and European Organisations, like the Federal Environment Agency in Berlin or at the OSPAR Commission in London, where she obtained experiences in substance evaluation and priority setting procedures. As such she was involved as an expert in various EU projects on the impact of REACH.
